one of my favorites bands

The Beatles are one of my favorites bands.
The beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960, and one of the most commercially successfull and critically acclaimed  acts in the history of popular music.
The group members are: John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals).
In march 1957 John Lennon, the aged sixteen, formed a kiffle group with several friend fron Quarry Bank scool. They briefly called themselves the Blackjacks, before changing their name to the Quarrymen after discovering that a repected local group was already using the name. Fisteen year old Paul MacCartney joined as a guitarist shortly after he and Lennon met that july. In February 1958 McCartney invited his friend George Harrison to watch the group

The Beatles´earliest influences include Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Little Richard and Chuck Berry, whose songs they covered more often than any other artist´s in performances throghout their career. During their co-resindency with Little Richard at the Star club, he advised them on the proper technique for performing  his songs. Of Presley, Lennon said, " nothing really affected me until i heard Elvis, if there hadn´t been Elvis, there would not have been the Beatles". Other early infleunces include Buddy Holly , Eddie Cochran, Roy Orbison and the Everly Brothers. The Beatles continued to absorb influences long after their initial success, often finding new musical and and lyrical avenues by listening to their contemporaries, includin Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, the Lovin´spoonful, the byrds and the beach boys, whose 1966 albun pet sounds amazed and inspider McCartney. Martin stated, "without pet sounds, sgt. pepper wouldn´t have happened. Pepper was an attempt to equal pet sounds. Ravi Shancar with whom Harrison studied for sox weeks in Indian in late 1966, had a significant effect on his musical development during the bands later years.

The Beatles was and will be a big musical influence for many artist and for many people felt identified with his lyrics an musical style, and just listen to their songs we have a smile on our face. =D

Astronomers have claimed the existence of a new class of planet: a "water-world" with a thick, steamy atmosphere.
The exoplanet GJ 1214b, just 40 light-years away, is a so-called "Super Earth" - bigger than our planet, but smaller than gas giants such as Jupiter.
Observations using the Hubble telescope now seem to confirm that a large fraction of its mass is water.
The planet's high temperatures suggest exotic materials might exist there.
"GJ 1214b is like no planet we know of," said lead author Zachory Berta, from the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
The planet was discovered in 2009 by ground-based telescopes, orbiting its comparatively cool red-dwarf star at a distance of just two million km - meaning temperatures on GJ 1214b probably reach above 200C.
It is about 2.7 times the Earth's diameter but with a mass just seven times higher (at an equivalent density, to the Earth, it would have nearly 20 times the mass).
In 2010, astronomers released measurements of its atmosphere. These suggested that GJ 1214b's atmosphere was probably made up of water, but there was another possibility - that the planet was covered in a haze, of the type that envelopes Saturn's moon Titan.
Hot ice
Mr Berta and his colleagues used the Hubble Space Telescope's wide-field camera to study the planet as it crossed in front of its star - a transit. During these transits, the star's light is filtered through the planet's atmosphere, giving clues to the mixture of gases present.
Hubble's observations can give clues to gases in the planet's atmosphere
The researchers said their results are more consistent with a dense atmosphere of water vapour, than one with a haze.
Calculations of the planet's density also suggest that GJ 1214b has more water than Earth. This means the internal structure of this world would be very different to that of our own.
"The high temperatures and pressures would form exotic materials like 'hot ice' or 'superfluid water', substances that are completely alien to our everyday experience," said Dr Berta.
The planet's short distance from Earth makes it a likely candidate for follow-up observations with the James Webb Space Telescope, which may launch by the end of this decade.
The study has been accepted for publication by the Astrophysical

The Nanny

The nanny it’s a 90’ serie . Its about a girl that is looking for a job , and she got the job of a nanny in a widow’s house. The widow has a 3 childrens and all have problems so the nanny try to help in all the situations. The widow it’s a Brodway producer so he has a partner named C.C, she’s in love with Max ( the Widow) but he its not interested in her. Also she hates the butler and the butler hates C.C so they are always making cruel jokes. And the most funny part it’s the particular family of Fran, they are always eating or looking for a husband for Fran (a doctor, rich and Jewish ) so all that thinks Fran is how to get a husband. In general the serie its about how the nanny and Max fall in love and that takes a lot of time.

Why I love the nanny? Because I have similar things with Fran like im a shopaholic, I love to shop like her, I spend a lot of time eating or thinking on what to eat , we have similar situations in life also we have the same luck with guys but I don’t have the rich widow :( hahaha. Another thing that i like about the show its the excentric wardrobe. I love to the way of the cruel jokes of the butler and C.C that makes me laugh a lot.

I could watch the Nanny all day and I won't get tired of the show. The first time that I saw the Nanny was when i was a little girl . On Vacations I used to wait till 4 or 5 am.

Music a drug?

You know that feeling you get when you listen to a favorite part of a favorite song?  Some scientists have a refreshingly unscientific word for it: They call it the "chills." In the lab they can measure the chills, which correspond with a specific pattern of brain arousal and often are accompanied by increases in heart and breathing rates and other physical responses. Now neurologists report that this human response to music which has existed for thousands of years, across cultures around the world involves dopamine, the same chemical in the brain that is associated with the intense pleasure people get from more tangible rewards such as food or addictive drugs. The research will be published Sunday in the journal Nature Neuroscience.
