CHILDREN & TV




In general watch the TV is an important hobby for all the people, but this activity has a lot of influence especially with the children and teenagers.  Watch the TV can be good for everyone because it teach us, entertain us, but sometimes the TV can has bad influence, for this reason is important for the parents take some cares when the children are going to watch TV.

In first place, when the children waste lots of time watching TV have more risk for get bad notes at school, because they don’t do their homework or don’t go at school, also they sometimes are tired in the school because don’t sleep for watch TV. Secondly they don’t do exercises and eat a lot of junk food that they see in the TV and in consequence the children get fat. Finally the violence, sexuality, drugs and alcohol in TV can transform to the children and they get violent or atrophy their social relations.



This is one of the main factors why there is so much childhood obesity, and if a person is obese as a child runs the risk that in adulthood it is also

For all that reasons, is important that the parents help to the children to get positive experiences with the TV. For example they can watch the TV with their children, or choose the appropriate programs for the age of the children. Also they can establish a diary o weekly quantity of hours to watch TV and turn off the TV in hours of study and food good.

To conclude, the parents can’t always be there with their kids but with the appropriate orientation the children can learn to use the TV with a good way and positive.

  1. i got a cousins that see to much television. they have seen all the seasons of whole the programs of mtv. i really think that mtv is a bad influence for teenagers. i know it because i saw it when i was a teenager. all was about sex and fashion. the same thing as today.
    i hear my cousins talking about south park specially. a really bad influence, too much bad words in a cartoon, situacions of kids of twelve or eleven years that should not happend. and all the teenegers not only see it, they are really fans of that program.
