THE TECHNOLOGIES

It is clear that the technologies are growing up every day, are part of our life and we couldn’t survive without the things that the technologies give us. Today there is no family activity, personal, or professional that doesn’t involve the technologies, like a cell phone call, writing an email, play video games, songs mp3, watch movies, and enumerable activities as well as academic, that is why today I am witting to express my opinion about the technological developments and their impact in our life.

First off all, the technologies have a lot of advantages, for example thanks to the technologies the people can be more productive, can have a comfortable life and make things easier, for example, microwave ovens cook food easily without using any stoves and making a big mess and in particular No one can imagine how life was without computers.

Also in medicine is very helpful because the technologies progress has provided the means to diagnose and many deadly diseases. As far as transportation man has come a long way from horses and coal driven trains to computer navigable and driven cars, in boats crossing the Atlantic it took four to six months, in airliners jets takes just hours.

We cannot forget the important place that takes the technology in the industry; here the machines do most of the work.

However, not all technology has been used for peaceful purposes; the development of weapons of ever-increasing destructive power has progressed throughout history, from clubs to nuclear weapons. Technology has affected society and its surroundings in a number of ways. In many societies, technology has helped develop more advanced economies. Many technological processes produce unwanted by-products, known as pollution , and deplete natural resources, the detriment of the Earth and its environment. Technology also creates financial problems in families because most technologies are very expensive to buy like the computers, televisions, refrigerators, DVD system, and home theatre systems. People who cannot afford to buy this kind of technology live a stressful life.

In conclusion the technology gives us happiness; we solved many problems, but also often bring us new these difficult problems. So the technologies are not good or bad, because it is good or bad is the use we give them. And in my opinion we have more advantages in technologies than disadvantages.
