Racism. Belen Rios

http://news.yahoo.com/white-mississippi-teen-gets-life-sentence-black-mans-232536717.html

I was reading some news in Yahoo! when I found this one, a white teenager killed a black man just for being a black person. I'm always being against racism, if we want to change our world like stopping wars, poverty, we need first of all stop making differences between the person who is beside of us, just because my color of my skin y white doesn't make me a better person or prettier, we need to focus more in how we are inside of us.

  1. I do not think racism disappears for me we are the same persons we have feelings because it's so shocking that we do not stop making diferencias like you say about the color of Ttheir Skin.

  2. I agree with you, if you want that things will change, it must starting with myself, and what is really important are feelings and NOT the physical appearance or socioeconomic status of people and it's a shame that after so much time still existing racism.

  3. to end racism we must begin with ourselves, we can not continue talking just by looking at the outside of people, social status etc.,we must take into account that above all are equal, we have feelings and rights,...

  4. I hate racism, I don't know why people think that because of their skin color or their nationality they are better than others or deserve better things, for example I hate how American citizens express themselves about immigrants, they are so cruel, or how they look at mexicans or black people. We mexicans are also racism, I'm not saying that american people only, but that is what I've seen and heard.

  5. I think that nancy is right we actually live in a superficial world were people will look at your clothes and your cellphone instead of your thought and your ideas and this is really bad because everyone is different skin, eyes, religion, language, and the fact that my skin is darker or lighter does not mean that I am better or that I am richer. It is something that people will never understand and we as well will never understand and will stop doing until something like that happen to us.
