Why february 14 is so special? love and friendship born that day? I dont think so, love and friendship are part of our lifes at everyday, everytime, every moment. Just one day to express our love or friendship to someone, sounds ilogic "I love you because is 14 february", love is for everyday not just one. I think this day is a little wrong, why you supouse to buy a expensive gift?, why you just gift something that cant be bought from money?
We are just seeing material love, we bought things to say i love you, this is wrong, or you are agree? "oh here I bought you this expensive big bear just for you baby I love you" ridiculous. What people need is to change their way to think. Money, cars, dosent matter to be happy or to have love, you are not going to buy someones heart with money, you are going to win a heart with dedication, with feelings, with expresing yourself, being romantic, just beeing what you are, not what other people want you to be. Material love also see body, "hey faty you are so ugly", I mean wow, why people are like this?, body or money dosent get a heart fall in love, I know that we have a first impression, but this impression change with everypeople.
Demostrate True love sometimes is hard, because you need a lot of dedication, honesty, respect. I think that True love is hard to find, you never end up meeting someone. True love is saying "I love you just the way you are, please do not ever change, I dont care about your past, im your present, and probably your future, I will demostrate you that im here everytime for you, dont belive me? 24 hours 7 days, if you fall I fall, if you win I win, if you're sad I'll be there to help you, listening to what you have to say, we have confidence so dont be shy to tell me whats happening."
In this day Friendship seems to be not important, they use this day just to celebrate love. What they dont know or see, is that friendship can generate love. Who hasent fall in love with a friend? come on, one way to fall in love is meeting a person, when you know all about him/her, when you got things in common, you start feeling something like wow "Why he/she is making me feel weird? I want to be with him/her all the day talking about anything or just seeing his/her face", when you almost can read his/her mind.
We can have a detail with someone, but prefer that the detail comes from your heart not from you wallet. A very valuable detail is a poem, a hug, a kiss, dedicate a song, do something that the other people like to do, like go to a park and talk, have a special date, I dont know just open your mind and let it go, let start using your imagination, you can also draw a picture, cook a cake, cook some special food like the food she/he likes more to eat.
I dont care if you have money or not, I dont care if you have a model body or not, I care if you have good feelings, good big heart, good attitude, I care if you express what you really are...
Well this is what I think about february 14, material love, true love, and details. Maybe someone can be agree with what im thinking maybe not, but think in something we cant go saying "you dont got money? you dont got a model body? GET OUT FROM MY WAY". We have to say "Hey you got a big heart over there, come close to me, you are a valuable person and the world dosent have a lot like you".

ReplyDeleteI think what don't could be a one day in specific what say how you must behave with your friend or you couple, also in this moments the valentine's day is so marketed how any other day.

Salvador this post was a very deep reflection on a topic that I sensed a lot time ago interested you. You mentioned you enjoy writing poetry so it is perhaps not a surprise that you have a very personal perspective of love, given that it is a topic that usually dominates poetry.
